I have worked in a wide variety of roles over the years, but the majority of my career has been as a Principal Town Planner for Leeds City Council, where I dealt with large scale commercial and mixed use developments within Leeds City Centre including university (mostly at the UoL) and hospital buildings, shopping centres, office developments and residential schemes. 

My qualifications are a BSc in Environmental Science and a Masters in Town and Regional Planning. 

I left the Town Planning profession in August 2022 to seek a different work life balance and explore other areas of interest. Following a fixed term contract as a Mentor with the NHS in their Health and Care Academy, I joined NCAS in June 2023 to cover a colleague’s maternity leave in the HQ Operations Team as an Operations, Administration & Projects Support Officer. In mid-May 2024 I moved to the NCAS People's Team, for a fixed term of 12 months, as a Workforce Development Support Officer.   

I am based at Fairbairn House in Leeds.
