NCAS Science Administrator
I started working as the NCAS Science Administrator in May 2024, I am based in York and I provide support to Jacqui Hamilton, the NCAS Science Director. I also work closely with Jenny Hudson-Bell, NCAS Research Administrator and support the wider NCAS team based at York.
Specifically my role includes the following:

Facilitating the Science Strategy Board Meetings by scheduling meetings, booking venues, catering and accommodation.

Creating and updating the the SSB Microsite

Arranging travel and accommodation

Managing the Science Directors diary and arranging meetings

Processing and checking expenses and credit card transactions

Providing support to the wider NCAS team based at York, this can include:

Helping to organise meetings and events,

Recruitment using the E:recruiter system to administer the process, from advertising the post to appointing the suitable candidate

Supporting summer placements and work experience

Processing travel expenses

Updating the WACL webpages
