As part of the ops team based in Leeds, I help with the day-to-day financial processes at NCAS. This includes being involved in raising invoices to NERC/UKRI and other institutions and paying invoices to NCAS partners.

My work also includes helping with the financial aspects of Research Grants awarded directly to NCAS and creating financial reports for the operations team as well as our Leeds-based Scientists, Engineers and Research Technicians.

Joining NCAS in June 2022 from another finance role within the University of Leeds I have more contact with central teams than most at NCAS and often act as an interface for helping with financial queries on both sides.
