I am a research scientist at the Department of Meteorology of the University of Reading currently working as:
- PDRA in "Arctic Summertime Cyclones - Dynamics and Sea-Ice Interaction" (NERC Std Grant)
- Researcher Co-I in "A global climatology of sting-jet cyclones" (NERC EtF Grant)
- Researcher Co-I in "MiLCMOP - Mid-Latitude Controls on Monsoon Onset and Progression" (NERC Std Grant)
Previously, I obtained my PhD here at Reading working on the dynamics of sting jets in extratropical cyclones.
My research interests include weather-systems dynamics, ranging from meso-scale convective features to synoptic-scale cyclones (at any latitudes!), monsoon dynamics, Lagrangian air-mass analysis and in general all the process-based studies of weather phenomena. I’m also happy to spend time in assistant teaching and supervision.
