Finance Assistant at the National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS), based at Fairbairn House in Leeds.

With an accounting qualification (AAT) and a degree in Mathematics, I support the NCAS Head of Finance and Contracts and FAAM Finance Officer with development of the 5-year financial plans and budgets through the annual planning process, monitoring performance against these budgets, and providing reports and analysis to budget holders and other stakeholders. Being responsible for day-to-day financial processes, supporting the NCAS and FAAM teams on financial reporting and analysis and assisting the project teams with providing information to budget holders.

I joined NCAS in October 2022 after 5 years working for a local charity providing recreational, educational, and leisure opportunities for people aged 50+.
