As the NCAS Education and Staff Development Manager I am responsible for the development and implementation of the NCAS Training strategy, and using the expertise of NCAS staff to contribute to the development of the atmospheric science community. I am co-chair of the NCAS Training Group which ensures that the external training delivered by NCAS is relevant to the community and of excellent quality.
I also work with NCAS staff to identify opportunities where NCAS can support their development and work with them to provide appropriate ways forward. Across all of our activities we work to develop relationships between NCAS and students on our courses to create networks and develop the atmospheric sciences community.
