I am Research Scientist at NCAS in the University of Reading. I am part of the European Horizon2020 PRIMAVERA Project lead by Prof. Pier Luigi Vidale. The Project aims to develop and evaluate high-resolution global climate models for the benefit of governments, business and society in general. My current work involves to carry out high resolution GCM experiments taking advantage of new earth observations of the land surface state. The focus is on the understanding of the land-atmosphere coupling at large catchment-level. I got my PhD degree at Universidad Nacional del Litoral (Argentina) on 2015, analysing the effects of land cover / land use changes in the regional climate of Southeastern South America.

Research interests:

Land surface processes.
Land-atmosphere coupling.

Land use / land cover changes effects on climate.

High resolution global climate modelling.

Current Projects:

PRoocess-based climate sIMulation: AdVances in high- resolution modelling and European climate Risk Assessment: PRIMAVERA (Horizon 2020).
PORtrayal of ChinesE Land Atmosphere INteractions (PORCELAIN).
Development of risk simulation tools through the integration of dynamic models for predicting the evolution of agricultural pests, weeds and diseases using hydrometeorological data.
