My research focuses on physical oceanography, with an emphasis on coasts. I am currently studying compound coastal hazards in Southeast Asia, associated with high‑impact weather, particularly tropical cyclones, using a barotropic numerical model. Previously, I worked on bathymetric inversion using wave video recordings, and on assessing the potential flooding and erosion impacts of mean sea‑level rise on the coasts of the Balearic Islands. I also developed a novel methodology to estimate equilibrium beach profiles for climate‑change impact assessments, as well as a multi‑platform wave and bathymetry monitoring system based on the combination of video imagery and continuous-wave radar.
