I’m a Research Scientist based at the Department of Meteorology, University of Reading. I first joined as a member of the Horizon 2020-funded PRIMAVERA Project, which addressed the benefits of very high resolution climate models. In particular, I was involved in developing products that are relevant to the European energy sector.

Then I also joined the H2020-funded S2S4E project, where I was involved in developing a subseasonal-to-seasonal forecasting system for European energy indicators (wind power, solar power, electricity demand). The resulting dataset can be obtained here:

I am currently working in the WCSSP project on Weather Regimes for Southeast Asia, where I am involved in exploring the predictability of the regimes and their potential use for the forecast of extreme precipitation events.
