Victoria joined NCAS in 2010 as a post-doc working with Stephen Mobbs and Alan Gadian in Leeds, on the Orographic Flows and the Climate of the Antarctic Peninsula (OFCAP) project. She used the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model to provide forecasts for the Antarctic Peninsula during a 5 week field campaign, and then alongside Radiosonde observations to research gravity waves in the upper troposphere .  Earlier interests during her PhD focussed on Orographic flow, looking at the effect of orogrophy on both convection and lee waves.  Since June 2012 Victoria has been an NCAS Instrument Research scientist, working on a variety of projects, in particular, managing the deployment and data processing of 130 HOBO data loggers as part of the Microclimates project.
