I have worked in a wide variety of roles over the years, but the majority of my career has been as a Principal Town Planner for Leeds City Council, where I dealt with large scale commercial developments within Leeds City Centre including university (mostly at the UoL) and hospital buildings, shopping centres, office developments and residential schemes. 

My qualifications are a BSc in Environmental Science and a Masters in Town and Regional Planning. 

I left my Planning role in August 2022 to seek a different work life balance and explore other areas of interest. Following a fixed term contract as a Mentor with the NHS in their Health and Care Academy, I joined NCAS in June 2023 to cover a colleague’s maternity leave in the HQ Operations Team as an Operations, Administration & Projects Support Officer. As of mid-May 2024 I will be moving to the NCAS People's Team, for a fixed term of 12 months, to take up the role of Workforce Development Support Officer.
