I am an NCAS Research Scientist and Senior Research Assistant at Cambridge University.  I first joined NCAS in 2003, when I worked in the Distributed Institute for Atmospheric Composition on aerosol science until 2009.  I rejoined in 2016 and now work for Alex Archibald and John Pyle on issues around Long Term Global Change using global models.

My research interests are in atmospheric composition and chemistry-climate interactions.  Recent work has used UKESM1 and UKCA, looking at the impact of modelled stratosphere-to-troposphere transport of ozone on the ozone budget and methane emissions and climate interactions.  I also enjoy using box modelling approaches to ask questions at smaller scale.  I'm now also involved in CMIP6 work, having led some experiments for AerChemMIP using UKESM1, and a multi-model evaluation of tropospheric ozone in CMIP6 models.
